When designed and managed effectively, climate finance plays a critical role in advancing national development priorities and strengthening resilient, well-governed infrastructure systems.

Building Analytical Foundations Understanding Kenya's climate risk profile, sectoral impact pathways, and institutional architecture is essential for identifying where climate finance can unlock transformational development in Taita Taveta.


Navigating the Climate Finance Ecosystem Strong knowledge of international public sources (GCF, GEF, Adaptation Fund), domestic sources (CCCF, National Treasury), and emerging instruments (carbon markets, blended finance) enables counties to mobilise resources strategically.



Embedding Climate into Planning and Budgeting Integrating climate considerations into CIDPs, sector plans, and annual budgets using Kenya's IFMIS and MRV frameworks ensures sustained accountability and impact.
